Flavio Maluf and His Professional Career

Since 1987, Flavio Maluf has worked in Eucatex Group of Companies. He worked through several departments of the company during his trajectory. He is the current president of Eucatex.

Flavio Maluf was born in 1961 as a descendant of Maluf. This is the owning family of Eucatex group of Companies. He went through University education studying Mechanical Engineering at the Alvares Armando Penteado Foundation in Sao Paulo. He also studied Business Administration and worked at the University of New York.

Flavio Maluf, in 1986, got married to Jacqueline Torres. The fruits of their relationship were a son and two daughters. The eldest daughter is a graduate of the University of England with a degree in Chemical Engineering. The 22-year-old daughter was a dazzling student. She endeavors to start her individual business. His 19-year-old graduate student from the University of FAAP studying Business Administration and wants to follow the footsteps of his father. His 15-year-old son is studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of London. He also wants to follow the footsteps of his father.

Since 1987, Flavio has worked in the company with different titles in different sections of the company. During his trajectory in the company, he worked as a fruitful servant ready to give his innovative ideas in the company. For most of his part, he did his best to make the company run successfully. He never had issues with the management. Moreover, he assisted his fellow workers in completing their tasks in the most innovative manner. In 1996, his uncle extended an invitation to join the board members of the company. This was one of his most attractive jobs. For this reason, the family extended their invitation and made him the president of the enterprise. This was a decision reached in 1997. He commenced his duties as the third president of the company.

When he started his management, he sought to revolutionize the entire business. He started by adopting the serial control criteria. This action involved the removal of unwanted posts in the company. For this reason, the company had a solid bureaucratic management where the subordinates are directly answerable to the management.
